How to Becoming a Member of ICGN

There are two modes of entry into the Institute:

♦ Direct Mode (DM): Direct membership is granted to qualified individuals and organisations after passing through an Intensive Mandatory Training (IMT) course based on the approved curriculum of the Institute.

♦ Professional Membership Qualifying Examination (PMQE): Membership can also be gained by passing the Institute’s professional membership qualifying examinations, CCGE, and fulfilling the thesis, case study and practical experience requirements. The professional membership qualifying examinations are in four stages: Foundation level, Intermediate level, Professional practice level (I) and Professional Practice level (II). The professional membership qualifying examination focuses on these key areas: corporate finance, corporate management, corporate accounting, corporate law and corporate governance and Economics

Method of Application

Interested candidates can use either method A or B. However prospective candidates are advised to use option A as it is known to be clearly more efficient.

Method A

1. Make payment of N20, 000 to purchase application/registration form. All payments should be made through:

2. Visit the website at www.icgng.org to fill and submit the online registration form and attach the receipt of the registration/application fee, curriculum vitae, photocopies of credentials.

3. Notification of admission and acceptance form will be sent to you via your email.

4. Email your acceptance letter to membership@icgng.org and instofcorpgovnig@yahoo.com.

5. Proceed and make full payment for the membership category offered to you as well as the course materials.

6. The admission letter will be sent to you.

7. After completing your course, you will receive your certificate.       

Method B

1. Make payment of N20,000 to purchase application/registration form. All payments should be made through:

2. Visit the website at www.icgng.org download the application form or obtain the application form from our office, to fill and scan the registration form and the supporting document.

3. Email your completed application form, the scanned receipt of the registration/application fee, curriculum vitae, photocopies of credentials to membership@icgng.org and instofcorpgovnig@yahoo.com

4. Notification of admission and acceptance form will be sent to you via your email.

5. Email your acceptance letter to membership@icgng.org and instofcorpgovnig@yahoo.com.

6. Proceed and make full payment for the membership category offered to you as well as the course materials.

7. The admission letter and course materials will be sent to you after the payment for your membership and course materials.

8. After completing your course, you will receive your certificate.
